We got tired of
switching tabs.
CloudOptify was built by cloud engineers who spent years managing infrastructure across both Azure and AWS for large enterprise clients — and every single cost review meant two portals, two billing models, and a spreadsheet held together with hope.
We built the tool we wished existed. One place for everything: cost data, waste findings, anomaly alerts, team chargeback, ITSM integration, and management reporting — across both clouds, without compromise.
"Most enterprise teams manage both Azure and AWS. Almost none have a single view of what they are spending across both."
The Azure portal shows Azure. The AWS console shows AWS. Each has its own cost explorer, its own anomaly alerts, its own billing model. There is no native cross-cloud cost analysis, no unified waste detection, and no shared team allocation model.
The result: engineers export spreadsheets. Finance manually reconciles two invoices. Management gets a combined number that nobody fully trusts because nobody knows exactly how it was calculated.
Built from real
engineering pain.
The frustration starts
Our founding engineers were running cloud infrastructure for enterprise clients across both Azure and AWS. Every cost review meant logging into two portals, exporting two spreadsheets, reconciling two billing models — and doing it again next month. There was no tool that did it cleanly for both.
Internal tooling becomes a product
What started as a set of internal scripts to unify multi-cloud cost data for our own clients grew into something more substantial. We added waste detection, team allocation, and budget alerting. Other teams started asking for access.
CloudOptify launches
We formalised the product, built the enterprise features — Entra ID / SCIM integration, custom dashboards, MCP agent access — and opened it to the public. Built in Denmark. Production-grade from day one.
Expanding the platform
AI-assisted cost analysis via the Model Context Protocol, Holt-Winters seasonal anomaly detection, confidence-scored waste findings, and ITSM integrations. The mission stays the same: one place for your entire cloud cost picture.
One platform.
The full picture.
CloudOptify does not replicate the native cloud consoles. It does what they cannot: unify cost data from both Azure and AWS into a single model, apply consistent waste detection and anomaly analysis across both, and surface the results to the right teams in the right format.
For engineering teams: waste findings, rightsizing recommendations, and SQL access to their own cost data. For finance: team chargeback reports and budget alerts delivered on schedule. For management: the executive view with forecast confidence bands and trend analysis — without a single spreadsheet.
Engineering principles,
not marketing promises.
No hand-waving
Every finding comes with a confidence score and an estimated monthly saving. We do not surface noise. If CloudOptify flags something, there is a number attached to it.
Read-only by design
CloudOptify never requests write permissions. It reads. It analyses. It recommends. The team decides what to act on. That boundary is intentional and permanent.
Built for operators, trusted by management
Engineers need actionable detail. Finance needs totals and trends. Management needs the executive view. CloudOptify is designed to serve all three audiences from the same data.
Danish engineering culture
Straightforward. Reliable. No bloat. We build what solves the problem clearly — not the most feature-rich product on the market, but the one your team will actually use.
